I have began to dip my hands into the world of art and animation to improve my designing skills. I think when you are designing something it is essential to have an open mind. Art and animation has rejuvenated my creativity and allowed me to create better designs that are also aesthetically pleasing. Here at Purdue I have taken an intro art class where i learned perspective, contour, and shading. I also took a CGT (computer graphics technology) intro class that taught be the importance of balance, spacing, and flow. Using these art principals i was able to create a self portrait using charcoal, a fun infographic about the classic game of pac-man using adobe illustrator, and a short animation of the tortious and the hare using adobe after affects.
